Debra Mostow Zakarin, President of Zoit Media, is a dynamic and sincere executive. She has over 25 years of publishing and consulting experience and a vast amount of expertise in all aspects of acquisition, content development, licensing, project management, and production of books and products including, editorial and art development, editing, writing, website content, market research and new business strategizing, brand management, and novelty product development.
Debra was the Executive Editor at DreamWorks Press (DreamWorks Animation Studio), Publisher at Intervisual Books/Piggy Toes Press, the Director of Domestic and International Publishing at Universal Studios, and an Editor at Scholastic. She has developed and edited hundreds of titles and has written well over 75 books which have been published by Scholastic, Little Brown Books for Young Readers, Penguin Putnam Books for Young Readers, Grosset & Dunlap, Golden Books Publishing Company, Simon & Schuster, Random House, and many other publishing houses. Some of her titles include Grandpa Lets Me Be Me, Countdown to Grandma’s House, Baby Chimp, Let’s Make Noise (series), What’s in the Ocean, and What’s in the Jungle and Glee™: The Official McKinley High School Yearbook.
